Field Trips for Grownups!

Remember school field trips? If you loved them the way I did, you’ll want to watch this website for information about a series of field trips designed to recreate some of the pleasures of childhood for a companionable group of grownups. Things like a Friday evening introduction to local edible mushrooms led by a local expert who will also take us mushrooming on Saturday morning.
On Saturday evening of this special weekend getaway in Maine, we’ll gather at a wonderful local cooking school, owned and run by an up-and-coming your chef and overlooking the ocean, where we’ll prepare dinner under her direction and tutelage. We’ll cook with the mushrooms we’ve collected ourselves as well as with other local ingredients. Sound like fun? Well, there’s more to come! Cooking from the Farmer’s Market!
