General information, Cancellations and Accessibility
Room rates for lodging at the Belmont Inn, our bed and breakfast in midcoast Maine, include a homemade, locally sourced full breakfast from 8:30 to 9:30 in the morning. Breakfast typically includes a fresh fruit entree, a main course, juice, and homemade baked goods. Breakfast coffee is out by 7:30 a.m., and the tea kettle and a large selection of teas are always available. Maine’s lodging tax adds an additional 9% to the cost of a room. All room rates are single or double occupancy.
Check-in is anytime between 3:00 to 6:00. If you need to arrive after 6:00, please contact us well in advance to arrange for a late check-in.
Check-out time is 11:00 a.m.
A deposit of one-half the entire room rate or one night’s room rate (plus applicable taxes), whichever is greater, is required in order to hold a reservation. We understand the uncertainty of travel resulting from the Covid-19 pandemic. Therefore, if you cancel your reservation by 3 p.m. on the day before your scheduled arrival, your deposit will be fully refunded, minus a $35.00 credit card processing fee. If you cancel any later on the day prior to your scheduled arrival, you are responsible for the deposit and the remaining balance of the entire reservation.
Late arrivals, early departures and no-shows do not qualify for a refund.
The Belmont Inn is entirely a non-smoking property. There will be a charge of $300.00 for smoking anywhere on the property.
We are sorry, but we cannot accommodate pets; however, we would be happy to provide information regarding boarding in the area.
If a guest or his or her invitee damages any room or other property of the Inn, the guest will be charged a fee to repair, restore or replace the damaged room or property in an amount to be determined in good faith by the Inn in its sole and absolute discretion.
